I have a swelling in my neck. Is it serious?

Most neck swellings turn out to be benign, but all of them deserve examination and usually an ultrasound. A swelling that has lasted more than three weeks should not be watched further without assessment.

My voice has changed. When should I worry?

Hoarseness lasting more than three weeks needs an endoscopic look at the vocal cords, particularly if you smoke. Most causes are treatable.

Can ENT problems affect my sleep?
