How cashless admission works
Bring your card
Carry your health card or policy number along with a government photo ID when you arrive. Our insurance desk sits on the ground floor.
Pre-authorisation
We fill in the pre-authorisation form with your treating doctor and send it to your TPA or insurer, usually the same day.
Approval
The insurer confirms what is covered. Planned admissions are normally approved within 24-48 hours; emergencies are sent through immediately.
Discharge & settlement
The approved amount is billed directly to your insurer. You settle only what the policy does not cover - non-medical items, co-pay or any excess.
Claiming reimbursement
Pay and collect
Settle the bill at discharge and collect the original invoice, discharge summary, prescriptions and reports from the billing counter.
File the claim
Submit the documents to your insurer or TPA within the window your policy allows - usually 15 to 30 days from discharge.
We help with queries
If your insurer asks for extra records or clarification, our insurance desk will provide them. Bring the query letter with you.
What to bring
- Health insurance card or policy number
- Government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence)
- Doctor's admission advice or referral letter
- Previous medical records related to the condition
- Employer or corporate ID, for group policies
Empanelment and policy terms change. What your policy covers is decided by your insurer, not by the hospital - please confirm with them before a planned admission.
